Shake off the snow, decorate the tree
Hang grace and mercy on the boughs
Compassion shines brighter than misery
Put up some kindness if you can somehow
Let the Spirit wind blow, let the Spirit snow fall
Let the Spirit flame burn deep within
Changes mourning into dancing again and again
Here's hopin' Christmas ...
Here's hopin' Christmas gets real tonight
What happened long ago can bring us down
The past is a ball and chain
When old memories shove us around
A little joy is just the thing
Gonna make a break and run like the wind
A voice like rushing water calling to me
Throw down the walls holding me in
It's for freedom that he sent me free
Beat the swords into ploughshares
Revolution has begun
Invitation to the great beyond
In a kingdom outshining the sun

In Bethlehem
05:07
|
|||
Hark the herald angels sing, glory to the newborn King
Peace on earth and mercy mild, God and sinners reconciled
Joyful, all ye nations, rise, join the anthems of the skies
With the angelic host proclaim, Christ is born in Bethlehem
Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Joy to the world, the Lord is surely come
O little town of Bethlehem how still we see thee lie
Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by
Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting Light
The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight
O come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant sing
O come to Bethlehem, come behold Him born the King
Come to Bethlehem and see Him whose birth the angels sing
Come adore on bended knee Christ the Lord the newborn King

Radio
03:52
|
|||
I'll get the radio
Find us a happy song
Share some of that peace on earth
Send some of that joy along
It doesn't seem much but the little I do
Amounts to a lot helpin' someone through
Let's pass Christmas time around
Just a smile or patience to wait
Like the snow fallin' down it accumulates
Let's pass Christmas time around
Love and kindness grow where you are
They multiply and they go very far
Let's pass Christmas time around
A great light has shone and it's marvellous
It radiates and it shines on us
Let's pass Christmas time around

O Come, O Come Emmanuel
04:43
|
|||
O come, O come Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here
Until the Son of God appear
Rejoice, rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel
O come Thou Dayspring come and cheer
Our spirits by Thine advent here
And drive away the shades of night
And pierce the clouds and bring us light
Rejoice, rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel
O Come, Desire of Nations, bind
All people in one heart and mind
Bid envy strife and quarrels cease
Fill all the world with heaven’s peace
Rejoice, rejoice! Emmanuel
Shall come to thee, O Israel
Rejoice... rejoice...

Light Up the Darkness
04:19
|
|||
Light up the darkness, make it bright
Jesus only, everlasting light
Transforming love doin' it right
Light up the darkness, make it bright
Started with a promise got to understand
The Lord's salvation is not made with hands
Born of a virgin it was prophesied
Light up the darkness, make it bright
Immanuel, Jesus took on flesh
Knows what it's like to be one of us
Don't where a suit all red and white
Light up the darkness, make it bright
Peace on earth will surely come
'Cause of who He is and what He's done
Sweet forgiveness, eternal life
Light up the darkness, make it bright
What do you mean there's more to do
You're in shadow, light not gettin' through
Saved by grace, nothing more to write
Light up the darkness, make it bright

Teach Me to Love
05:48
|
|||
It's that season ... shhh ... don'y say His name
Get sentimental, but deny why He came
Still the poor suffer while we play this game
Got no excuse that we can claim
Pretend to be shepherds or wise men who've come
Bow and do homage to vague Christendom
Still the poor suffer, but what have we done
Hear their crying and just play dumb
Like a baby needs a mother's love
Like the earth needs rain from above
Like the silver moon needs the purple night
I need You to show me how to get it right
Compassion doesn't live in a lukewarm heart
Nothin's gonna change without a spark
Make the flame grow into a wildfire
Teach me to love, make it my desire
Will this Christmas pass like the others before
Coloured lights and carols and crowds in the stores
We let the poor suffer and their pain ignore
While the King who's come humbly waits at the door
We justify anything, just call it God's plan
Lay foundations in the shifting sand
We see the poor suffer but don't lift a hand
Our hearts are empty but our barns are crammed

What Child is This?
05:02
|
|||
What Child is this who laid to rest
On Mary's lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping?
This, this is Christ the King
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste, haste to bring him laud
The Babe, the Son of Mary
How good of You, my Saviour
To come from heaven above
O take away my sinning
Protect me with Thy love
|
||||
8. |
||||
Who is He in yonder stall, at whose feet the shepherds fall?
Who is He in deep distress, fasting in the wilderness?
‘Tis the Lord! O wondrous story!
‘Tis the Lord! The King of Glory!
At His feet we humbly fall
And crown Him Lord of All
Who is He the people bless for His words of gentleness?
Who is He to whom they bring all their sick and sorrowing?
Who is He that stands and weeps at the grave where Lazarus sleeps?
Who is He the gathering throng greet with loud triumphant song?
Lo, at midnight who is He, prays at dark Gethsemane?
Who is He on yonder tree dies in grief and agony?
Who is He who from the grave comes to succour, help and save?
Who is He who from His throne rules through all the worlds alone?

Silent Night
04:32
|
|||
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace ...
Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night, holy night
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia
Christ the Saviour is born ...
Christ the Saviour is born
Silent night, Holy night
Son of God, Love’s pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord at thy birth ...
Jesus, Lord at thy birth

Let's Celebrate
03:22
|
|||
Standing in the street, I watch the traffic flow
Smell the fresh pine trees, take one for the kids back home
A very special night, noticed by a few
A star it shone so bright for a baby boy born new
The beginning of a life in a tired world so torn
Hope and love He brings as a servant and a king
Let's celebrate, let's all be glad
Sing out the great joy we have
God's gift of peace, God's gift of love
Jesus is born, God's gift to to us
In the busy street I see the lonely hearts that cry
While others smile and laugh, singing carols, passing by
Hear the Army tambourines as they jingle out "please help"
And it jogs my memory as to how it must have felt
Out that very special night, one that changed the world
Seemed nothing could go right -- they were homeless, poor and cold
The beginning of a life in a tired world so torn
Hope and love He brings as a servant and a king

Imagine that ... no room
Tired of travelling and the baby’s due soon
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love
Whew-ee, sure smells like a barn
But the hay in the trough'll keep the baby warm
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love
The sound of that choir – c’mon, was that real?
The words they sang, the wonder they feel ...
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love
A star appeared, an infant came
Nothin' ever would be the same
What child is this that means us well?
Right here with us ... Immanuel
Hired hands gaze through the door
Why in heaven would they kneel down for?
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love
Never seen in any Christmas card
Passion so deep, a journey so hard
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love
A star appeared, an infant came
Nothin' ever would be the same
What child is this that means us well?
Right here with us ... Immanuel
What child is this that means us well?
Right here with us ... Immanuel
So it goes to an upper room
A garden, a cross, an empty tomb
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love
Say what you like, somewhere in this there’s love ...

The Humble Jesus' Birth
03:49
|
|||
Unpack the decorations, it's that time of year again
Red and green and mistletoe and chubby little men
The presents and the tinsel and the candles burning bright
Can't hide the simple truth that really happened on that night
O Wonderful Counselor, longed-for Prince of Peace
Immanuel, God is here, His Kingdom will not cease
Angelic proclamation, joy and peace on earth
Celebrate it one and all, the Humble Jesus' birth
Shall we join the shepherds and risk humility
Believe the news and search for Him and fall down on our knees?
The reason for the season, incarnate Deity
It's Jesus, yes! It's Jesus, and Jesus died for me
Isn't in a manger, isn't in an upper room
Isn't hanging on a cross or dead inside a tomb
He arose, ascended up, He's coming back for sure
The Merry Christmas in the gold and frankincense and myrrh

Don't Leave Me Here
05:14
|
|||
He didn't stay a baby, baby grew into a man
Didn't stay a baby, baby grew into a man
Take me with You, Jesus
Don't leave me here in Bethlehem
Safe stayin' in the manger, nothin' safe 'bout the Son of Man
Prob'ly safer in that manger, nothin' safe 'bout the Son of Man
I'm scared in some ways Jesus
But it's worse here in Bethlehem
He was born a King, but He's a freshly slaughtered Lamb
He was born a King, but He's a freshly slaughtered Lamb
Wanna be with You in Your Kingdom, Lord
Not cast away in Bethlehem
Somethin' 'bout that blood, though, keep comin' up again
Somethin' 'bout that blood, though, keep comin' up again and again
Without You dyin' on that cross
Ain't no escape from Bethlehem
Take me with You Jesus
'Til the wheels fall off and burn
Don't leave me stuck behind here
Got nowhere else to turn
An old and ageless mystery, long way to the Promised Land
An old and ageless mystery, long, long way to the Promised Land
Long as I follow Jesus
Won't be left behind in Bethlehem
It's love and it's forgiveness, sometimes hard to understand
It's love and it's forgiveness, lead me to the Promised Land
Take me with You, Jesus
Don't leave me here in Bethlehem

Peace On the Earth
06:38
|
|||
The night was cold and I was tired and lonely
But I could not sleep
So I huddled in my coat beside the fire
And wiled away the time by counting sheep
The stars went shining on serenely
Like they did before my life was torn apart
And the wind as it howled across the hillside
Found an echo in my bitter lonely heart
I thought about the wrongs I had done
About all my stubbornness had cost
And I wondered if my life would ever change
If I’d retrieve the things the I had lost
Then the night – the night it broke wide open
I had never in my life been more afraid
There were ranks of angels blazing with glory
And this is what I swear I heard them say
Peace ... peace on the earth
Peace and goodwill to men
Peace ... in your heart
A King is born to you in Bethlehem
I left the sheep and ran to find Him
It was just the way the angel had said:
A baby, wrapped in scraps and rags
With a manger for His bed
Now they said He was born a king
But He surely did not look the part
And I’ve tried, but I cannot explain it
All I know is He healed my broken heart
Peace ... peace on the earth
Peace and goodwill to men
Peace ... in your heart
A Saviour is born in Bethlehem
Peace ... peace on the earth
Peace and goodwill to men
Peace ... in your heart
From the Child who was born in Bethlehem
From the Baby who was born in Bethlehem
From the Child who was born in Bethlehem
