This song is based on 1 Peter 5:7 and 1 John 4:18. This song was written in a moment of my life where I was feeling troubled by my emotions and troubles of life. As I was mediating on the Word and praying over my heart, this song just burst out of my mouth so I began to sing it and write down. It says everything that God wants us to do…is just to surrender. Many times our troubled hearts can be so caught up by the circumstances that we are facing or by our emotions of life. We forget about coming to God and just casting everything that trouble us unto His feet. Once we cast them down at His feet, Jesus Christ sets us free from our emotions and troubles.
