Growing old like a garment
I know what that means
Our mortal body ages slowly day by day
For years we don’t notice
But eventually it shows
Then we can’t go on and simply pass away

With everlasting life, we have no experience here
The Word of God is the place where we are told

And when it arrives, we never will grow old

For God so loved the world

At the foundation of faith in Jesus is eternal life
With atonement, resurrection, and being born again
